On a 45 degree day, myself, Dad and my sister decided that going for a hike at Mutawintji would be a deadly idea. We were looking for a water hole and the hike was only supposed to take 1 hour both ways. Instead, we got lost along our journey and it ended up taking 5 hours, leaving us very hot and very dehydrated. This painting tells the story of that 5 hour hike and although we were extremely hot and tired by the end, I wouldn't change the experience we had together that day.
